Principal's Message

Dear Wood Elementary Community,

I am thrilled to announce that I will be serving as your principal for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. My name is Veronica Hibbert and I have had the honor of being a part of this incredible community for the last three years as the Teacher on Special Assignment. My journey in education has spanned 19 rewarding years within the Tempe Elementary School District, and Wood has truly become my home.

As we embark on this new chapter together, I want to reinforce our commitment to the Wolfpack mentality – a philosophy grounded in unity, strength, perseverance, and the collective effort of supporting one another.

Furthermore, I want to emphasize my unwavering belief that all students can achieve greatness. I am deeply committed to creating an environment where every student feels loved and supported, understanding that these are the foundations upon which their success is built. Together, we will continue to cultivate a nurturing atmosphere that champions the potential of each and every one of our students.

I look forward to serving Wood in a larger capacity and am excited about all the accomplishments and growth we will achieve together. Here's to a future where our pack not only grows stronger but thrives in every aspect.
